SWAT Ministries is a non-profit organization that fights trafficking worldwide through Awareness, Training, and Prevention Methods. Our goal is to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ in every aspect. We believe every human being should be set free, physically & spiritually.

The SWAT Ministries Method

Preventing

Awareness is essential to end human trafficking.
Knowledge is powerful! Our Field Representatives and staff work hard to bring awareness in at-risk villages in Chiang Rai, Thailand. We also express the love Jesus Christ has for us and how he can impact our lives. SWAT also uses resources to supply needs to villages and poor communities in hopes of reducing the risk of children being sold due to severe poverty.

Defending

Training is the heartbeat of our ministry.
Brave men and women are risking their lives every day to rescue children from slavery. We partner with rescue organizations worldwide and are responsible for supplying the training and skills necessary for rescuers to free children safely and effectively out of trafficking. Our program is designed to train rescuers, security staff, house parents, and survivors of trafficking.

Restoring

Healing the brokenhearted
Restoration begins with love. SWAT ministries’ goal is to provide a loving home for rescued victims and children from traumatic backgrounds. One of these forever homes has been created in Thailand with the goal of starting many more.

Our Mission

Engage with villages, mothers, fathers, and children to fight human exploitation, work with these families to nurture, encourage, and challenge them to a life of hope, love, understanding, family unity, and community participation. Healing wounds, restoring hearts, and living a faithful and joyful life is the desire of our hearts.

To break the chains of human trafficking and restore the family unit by healing trauma, restoring brokenness, and demonstrating love, kindness, and forgiveness through prayer and open communication.

Our Founders

Jon & Chrissy Espy

Jon and Chrissy Espy have a passion for not only teaching Defensive Tactics in the war against sex trafficking but first and foremost for people to walk hand in hand with Christ. The Espys met and married in the military and have since served as missionaries in Thailand as a pastor and English teacher. Jon is a black belt in Taiho-Jitsu, a Police Subject Control Instructor, purple belt in Brazilian Ju-Jitsu, a Brown belt in Akido, and has studied other forms of martial arts. Chrissy is both a R.A.D. instructor and a Subject Control Systems instructor.

SWAT Ministry trains others in self-defense and other areas of security through Subject Control Systems. Our main objective at SWAT is to see Jesus made known all over the world by showing the love of Jesus Christ as it is our desire to go to the ends of the earth to help set the captives free, both physically and spiritually.
